How known are you on a scale of 1-10 (10 being everyone knows you):

    6/10

How will you becoming a moderator make an impact on the community?

In the past I have played on the server for fun but never really contributed to it. Now that I have matured I can see why so many staff loved their roles, I want to be able to give back to the community. I have been Staff of Gateway in the past for the TTT server and wish to contribute to starwarsrp.

I have developed a lot of patience over the years and can handle stressful situations and I welcome them, I love a challenge so I will be always trying to be my best.

I am very unbiased and never take sides.

    I have learned paitence

Do you use our Teamspeak server often?

I never get on the server without logging into TS first

    Situations:

    1. A user is RDMing and Insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do?
    !LOGS
    !goto
“RDMER” To see if I can witness anything !bring “RDMER” To secluded area

I would then !freeze the RDMer and !bring the victims, I would ask details and for any evidence. If its an absolute that the user was RDMing and insulting I would

    !warns (RDMING/Verbally abusing players)

or verbally warn depending on the situation.

    Then !return The users.

    2. A group of users have confronted you and explain how another user was breaking some server rules earlier (RDMing and Climb Swep abusing). The users threaten that they want immediate action otherwise they will leave the server. What do you do?

!bring “Rulebreaker” then as for both sides, (Any evidence ect)

    Two situations

    (Evidence is shown)
    !Logs

    !Warns “Rulebreaker” (RDMing/ Climbswep abuse)

    Then !Return

    (No evidence)
    !Logs
I would verbally warn the “Rulebreaker” And !Return

I would !administrate And follow the “Rulebreaker” If I catch them breaking rules I would !Warns “Rulebreaker” (Rules broken*)

However if the “Rulebreaker” does not break any rules I will keep an eye out for a while until I deem that they are a genuine player.

    (Both situations)
Speak to the users and attempt to calm them. !Bring them to the top of the ship and attempt to calm them, Ask for their side and tell them I will deal with it. Make them avoid eachother

    3. A user has threatened to Ddos and take down the server. What do you do?

!bring “DDOSER” I would Explain the Ddosing is very serious and would result in a perm ban. If they explain that they were joking or that it was out of frustration I would sort the situation out. But threats are still a threat so I would stil !ban “DDOSER” for a few days. If the threat was legitimate I would immediately !ban “DDOSER” 0 Threatening to DDOS is illegal and should never be considered Ok.

And report it to a Senior admin or an executive member.

    4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing infront of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do?

!bring both ask for both sides

    Two situations

    (The argument was roleplay related)

I would let them continue in private until it is resolved if it gets out of hand I would take action to seperate them until a resolution can be made

    (The argument was OOC)

I would demand that they resolve it or I would take action, If it is a simple argument I would separate them and tell them to avoid each other, If it is a petty argument and threats are made I would give verbal warnings, If they continue to argue after the warnings I would !warns Accordingly.

Everyone should have the right to resolve an argument especially if it is just a misunderstanding or silly dispute. However threats should be taken seriously since we value all players on the server.

    5. A Cadet has been complaining and wondering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He seems like a minge to you and you're not sure if he is really here to play. What do you do?

Train him myself, If he “Minges” I will give a verbal warning explaining that if he doesn’t want to RP he should just leave. If he continues to minge I would warn. If it’s Pure minging I would ban.

All players deserve a fair and equal judgement no matter what you see them as, I do believe in second chances but if someone abuses that then they don’t deserve to be on the server.

I would like to thank Ren for giving me tips

Isn’t fixed for me, the shade of green makes it incredibly difficult to read, if I’m honest, I can’t even read it.

JamWay, I've worked with you well when I was in 91st, and I remember you way back, You've always been a dedicated and responsible member of the server in my eyes. I'd be more than happy to see you as apart of the staff team.

    +1, from me.

Damn sorry I was 13 without a job?

First time My Hard-drive had broken and I had to replace it First time leaving I had to wait till my birthday to buy a new one (I was 13)

Second time my screen and battery broke. A few months later I found a way to hook it into my TV with no problems

Third time was when that laptop officially wouldn't turn on anymore.

One year later I have worked and saved up for a gaming computer. First thing I do is rejoin the server. Look at my status thats proof.

My disappearances aren't deliberate. having 4 breaks over a 4 year long period is nothing, To judge someone over something so silly is weird but Ok ill take it.

After some time seeing you on the server, I have to -1.

From my firsthand experiences, you can come across different ways varying from arrogant to unnecessarily sassy. When something doesn't happen like you remember it from "Ye olde days", or simply not in your favour, you enjoy questioning it in a relatively irritable manner. As a moderator, I don't feel these traits will compliment the moderator team well, and I do believe it'll affect your role as staff on the server, whether it be directly or indirectly.

If you want some constructive criticism, I'd suggest starting to look at how you approach situations, and approach occurrences on the server, and become a little more self conscious on how others may perceive you. Not to the point of a doormat, but it could be a start to at the very least be aware of this.

You seem to be a relatively dedicated player of the server, which is admirable; but unfortunately a staff position requires more than simple dedication.

    Best of luck.

That's just me having a joke, This is the first time anybody has told me about this, If I had of known I would have stopped, I did go around the other day asking what people thought and they all said they have no problems with me, All I ask is that people please be honest.

Unfortunately, this response simply proves my point. You're quick to the defense and relatively hard on the responses to opinions outside of your own. Again I'd suggest being more open to accepting the opinions of others moreso than responding in a manner such as this.

In no way, shape or form am I attacking you, but giving my personal opinion based on multiple interactions with you both directly and indirectly. I am/was informing you with my -1 on this application of yours-- keep in mind votes can change with time!

I hope you understand where I'm coming from. Again, best of luck.
